Prescription Level 1

Saturday Class

This is a one day (6 hour) session for first offenders.
This class covers the fundamental topics dealing with substance abuse and focuses onprescription drug misuse.
Program objectives include:

• Understand progressive nature of prescription drugs and the shifting purpose
• The importance of physician communication
• Understand consequences of irresponsible use on themselves and others
• Pharmacological overview
• Long term physical, psychological and social problems and treatment resources.
